Here’s why we need your help
Our team is expanding, and so is our real estate footprint! We are looking for an Office Manager to oversee general office operations at our company headquarters and support Recovery.com’s employees, candidates, partners, clients, and guests while cultivating company culture and a positive work environment.
Work Location
This role is required to be in office 5 days a week. Flexibility to work from home occasionally.

- We have great relationships with facility-related vendors, while still getting things done.
We’ll expect you to do things like these:
- Oversee day-to-day activities of the office, responding to requests and questions, providing resources and solutions
- Manage company and employee travel and expenses
- Manage office administrative tasks, including procuring and stocking snacks and supplies
- Nurture a positive, pleasant environment not only in demeanor, but also by maintaining the appearance of common areas (cleanliness, decor, etc)
- Support the People Operations team in organizing employee engagement activities, such as company retreats, holiday and summer parties, food for team lunches, etc.
- Coordinate office technology including ordering computers and virtual meeting set-up
- Manage office security, moves, and changes to furniture arrangements
- Manage vendor relationships (e.g., cleaning, maintenance, delivery services)
- Maintain security at the office by managing access and ensuring the space is open and locked to appropriate people
- Assist with special projects
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in office administration, office management, or equivalent experience
- Tech Savvy and excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and an aptitude to learn new software
- Able to maintain confidentiality

- Excellent professional communication and etiquette skills - you are frequently the point of contact for all levels of the company and all kinds of guests and visitors
- Experience in event planning and logistics
- Strong people skills with a penchant for hospitality and positive attitude
- Experienced in a start-up environment
- Familiarity with both Windows and Mac operating systems
- Self-starter: proactive to identify needs and meet them
- Highly administrative, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
Travel Expectations
Twice a year for company gatherings. As a part of the planning team, you may occasionally need to travel some extra days in order to help prepare for and clean up after these activities.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000/year, plus eligible benefits. Compensation may be adjusted based on tenure and experience
Equity Options
In addition to your cash compensation, you will receive options to buy stock in Recovery.com at a set strike price. These options will vest on a four-year schedule and present an exciting opportunity to benefit from the upside of our company’s growth.
Dane County Housing Stipend
We strongly value in-person work and collaboration, so for full-time employees residing in Dane County, we offer a housing stipend of $689/month in addition to your salary ($8,268/yr; half of the Fair Market Value of a 2BR apartment in Madison according to rentdata.org).
Company Bonus Program
An additional 10% of base earnings paid out quarterly when the company meets its revenue target.
Estimated first year compensation: $53,268 - $63,268 (inclusive of Dane County Stipend and Company Bonus Program)
