We’re looking for a Senior Sales Manager to drive continued expansion across the digital marketplace. We need a strategic and hands-on leader to manage a team of 6 or more sales professionals, including Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs), focused on generating new sales revenue and improving net revenue retention (NRR). Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will refine scalable sales playbooks, optimize pipeline performance, conduct call reviews, and ensure our sales team has the tools, coaching, and support to exceed their goals.
Work Location
This is a hybrid role based in Madison, Wisconsin. We are open to remote candidates who can work effectively with our teams and visit the Madison office regularly.

- Revenue Growth: The team consistently hits and exceeds revenue targets through both new business and account expansion
- Team Development: The sales team grows under your leadership, with improved skills, higher performance metrics, and scalable processes in place
- Playbook and Rev Ops Adoption: Sales playbooks and RevOps motions are implemented and optimized for consistent, repeatable success
We’ll expect you to do things like
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team by fostering a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, accountability and professional growth
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, setting clear goals and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Monitor and evaluate team performance metrics by optimizing workflows, improve processes and achieve organizational objectives
- Ensure team members are effectively integrated into the team and equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed
- Lead and coach a team of 6 sales professionals (AEs and BDRs) to achieve revenue growth and retention goals
- Develop and optimize sales playbooks and rev ops strategies to improve performance and process efficiency
- Conduct structured call reviews and provide actionable coaching to elevate sales execution
- Manage and monitor pipeline health, ensuring timely and effective opportunity management
- Partner with Revenue Operations and other stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance CRM utilization
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales strategy with marketing and customer success initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, including managing AEs and BDRs
- Proven ability to scale and refine sales processes for predictable revenue growth
- Experience using CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and leveraging data to inform decisions
- History of successful cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps teams
What we think will improve your chances of success
- Experience in digital marketing, advertising, or SaaS
- Strong leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
Compensation:
Base Salary: $110,000 to $140,000, with final compensation determined by experience and tenure
Commission: $50,000 On-Target Annual Earnings, uncapped
Total On-Target Earnings (OTE): $160,000 to $209,268
Travel Expectations
Occasional travel may be required, with approximately 10–15% of your time spent traveling for key client meetings or team collaboration sessions. Travel to bi-annual company retreats required.

- Able to work in an open office environment
- Lift items weighing up to 15 lbs
Equity Options
In addition to your cash compensation, you will receive options to buy stock in Recovery.com at a set strike price. These options will vest on a four-year schedule and present an exciting opportunity to benefit from the upside of our company’s growth.
Quarterly Bonus
An additional 10% of base earnings is paid out quarterly when the company meets its revenue target.
Dane County House Stipend
We strongly value in-person work and collaboration, so for full-time employees residing in Dane County, we offer a housing stipend of $689/month in addition to your salary ($8,268/yr; half of the Fair Market Value of a 2BR apartment in Madison according to rentdata.org).
